WHEREAS, the Philippine Department of Agriculture Mission
to the Republic of Korea, after thorough evaluation of the disease
status of meat establishments, quarantine procedures, and meat
inspection system, found favorable conditions that merit allowing
the importation of pork and its by-products from High Meat 21C
Company, Limited in Kangwon-do, South Korea.
WHEREAS, only specified meat products such as pork,
backfat, skin, liver, and intestines coming from the following
meat establishments are allowed for importation:
HIGH MEAT 21C COMPANY, LIMITED (Est. NO. SR1304002-SH)
HIGH MEAT 21C COMPANY, LIMITED (Est. NO. 2002-S-11-PP)
WHEREAS, all import transactions of above products
shall be in accordance with the existing rules and regulations
of the Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Animal Industry
/ National Meat Inspection Commission (DA - BAI / NMIC).
WHEREAS, all imported products shall conform to the
existing packaging and labeling standards of the Department of
Agriculture - National Meat Inspection Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUIS P. LORENZO, JR., Secretary
of Agriculture, by virtue of power vested in me by law, do hereby
issue this order granting accreditation to the above-named meat
establishments to export pork and its by-products to the Philippines.
All orders, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, which
are inconsistent with the provisions of this order are hereby
repealed or amended accordingly.
This order shall take effect immediately.
