Corn processing centers to stabilize livestock feed supply, assure quality

Honest Baniqued, Jr., president of Nabcor, says the company is working to establish post-harvest facilities for corn farmers to assure the livestock industry of quality feed supply. Baniqued said 13 postharvest processing and trading centers (PHPTCs) are now operating nationwide and six are set to be established to service the needs of livestock raisers who have been complaining about the high cost of feeds.

Presyo ng asukal, hindi tataas

Walang magaganap na pagtaas ng presyo ng asukal ngayong Semana Santa, ayon sa SRA.   Sinabi ni SRA Admin. Martin na kahit pa malaki ang demand o pangangailangan ng asukal sa mga pamilihan ay hindi magkakaroon ng price adjustment sa presyo nito ngayong panahon ng tag-init.

PH, India hold agri symposium

The BAR will hold a symposium entitled “enhancing Philippine-ICRISAT Partnership in Agricultural Research for Development” at its main office in QC on April 10.
