This brings to P510 million the cumulative amount of loans that have been released under the credit programs being overseen by ACPC. From the Agro-industry Modernization Credit and Financing Program (AMCFP), P125.7 million was released to 5,579 small farmers and fisherfolk during the year. Since the AMCFP launch in 2003, P477 million has already been disbursed to rural borrowers through the program. Total farmer- and fisherfolk -borrowers under the program now reach 21,752 up by 26% from 2005. There was a slow down in lending with the AMCFP-Quedancor window during the year as it focused on collecting some P174 million lent in 2005. | | | | Events/Exhibits/Fairs | | | | more >> | | |
