Announcement from the Office of the Undersecretary for Regulations and Infrastructure (Hiring of Consultants)

The development of the Philippine Food Chain Logistics Masterplan (PFCLM) 2022-2040 is a long-term project funded by the Spanish Government Cooperation through the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The project was supported by the Department of Agriculture through the issuance of Special Order No. 438, series of 2020. This project aims to improve national agriculture logistics systems by upgrading DA extension services such as laboratory testing and quarantine services, as well as promotion of good agricultural practices and handling.

In line with this, the Asian Development Bank urgently need consultants under a consulting firm with expertise in Agro Food Logistics and Value Chain. The consulting firm will help the Philippine Government to formulate the PFCLM which shall serve as a roadmap for government, private sector, and other key stakeholders to develop modern, efficient, and sustainable food logistics ecosystem with policy recommendations and indicative investment gaps.

The contract duration is for 12 months and can be extended as needed. Deadline for the submission of application is on January 16, 2022.
