Author: DA Press Office | 6 February 2026

The Department of Agriculture (DA), through the Export Development Office (EDO), officially launched the Agri-Export Help Desk on January 16, 2026. Designed as a one-stop platform, the initiative aims to streamline services, strengthen inter-agency coordination, and to provide timely assistance to stakeholders in agricultural exports in collaboration with DA agencies.

More than a process improvement initiative, the Agri-Export Help Desk serves as a bridge between private stakeholders and DA regulatory agencies, reinforcing the Department’s commitment to enhancing services in the agricultural export sector through an integrated communication platform with various regulatory agencies.

The launch was attended by Undersecretary for Policy, Planning, and Regulations Asis G. Perez, Assistant Secretary and Special Assistant for Export Development Philip C. Young, and Agri-Export Help Desk focal persons and representatives from collaborating agencies: Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (AMAS), Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC), Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation Program (F2C2), Food Development Center (FDC), National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS), National Tobacco Administration (NTA), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), and the Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA).

The initiative was formalized through DA Memorandum Order No. 09, Series of 2025, titled “Establishment of the Agri-Export Help Desk.” Operational support for the Help Desk is further strengthened through DA Special Order No. 363, Series of 2025, as amended by Special Orders No. 1862 and 1961, which designate Permanent and Alternate Focal Persons from each participating agency.
