The Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Department of Education (DEPED) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Friday on the implementation of P20 “Benteng Bigas Meron Na” Rice Project through the KADIWA ng Pangulo program.

Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr. and Education Secretary Sonny Angara formalized the agreement, during the 2nd KADIWA ng Pangulo Expo 2025 in Foro de Intramuros, Manila,  underscoring the collaboration between the two government agencies to promote food security, improve the lives of Filipino consumers, and make essential food products more accessible. ### (Photos by Jay Morales, DA-OSEC Comms)
