P302.08-M worth of DA interventions was distributed to farmers and fishers during the formal launch of the second wave of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Rice Farmers Financial Assistance (RCEF-RFFA) and the Fuel Discount Program in the province of Pampanga on May 24, 2022.
This DA-led initiative benefits more than 40,000 rice farmers.
Fuel discount vouchers were also distributed benefiting 936 corn farmers.
On top of these, 40 farmer cooperatives and associations (FCAs) also received a total of 59 farm machineries from the DA Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) under the RCEF Mechanization component. ### (Photos by Adonis Buhayan, DA-AFID)
