Author: DA Communications Group | 13 October 2020

Agriculture Secretary William Dar and officials of the Department of Agriculture (DA) Calabarzon Regional Field Office led by Director Arnel de Mesa visited the technology demonstration farm of Turbulent Drip Sales, Inc. (TDSI) in Tagaytay City on October 13, 2020.

The model farm features TDSI technology specializations such as greenhouse systems, irrigation systems, hydroponics or soil-less system, aquaponics, and agri-tourism farm development, among others that apply modern, cost-efficient, and sustainable farm management practices.

According to Secretary Dar, the technologies presented can be promoted through the DA’s Plant, Plant, Plant umbrella program, particularly the Urban Agriculture Program.

The TDSI, which is owned by Engr. Jose Emie Siojo, offers farm development projects that suit local conditions and the requirements of individual farmers and agricultural corporations. Its clients include Costales Nature Farms, Dizon Farms, and San Miguel Corporation. (Photos by Alan Jay Jacalan, DA-AFID)
