Agriculture Secretary William Dar led the groundbreaking of various projects for the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) in line with the advancement of the Philippine agriculture and fishery sectors.

“This progression is geared towards the setting up of more research laboratories to give students quality education based on science and technology,” Dar stressed.

The projects, which amount to a total of P32 million (M), are composed of the Agriculture Innovation Center for Agri-Fishery-Livestock, Tissue Culture Laboratory, Solar Power Irrigation System, and Feed Mill Facility.

“We are happy to be part of the development and growth of this institute of higher education so that you can produce graduates who will create job opportunities and livelihood to employ others,” Dar. (Photos by Alan Jay Jacalan, DA-AFID)
