Groundbreaking of Cold storage and Meat cutting Facility in San Jose, Batangas (Jan. 23, 2021)

Agriculture Secretary William Dar led the groundbreaking of the P50-million cold storage and meat cutting facility in Barangay Aya, San Jose, Batangas on January 23, 2021.

The facility, awarded to the San Jose Workers Multipurpose Cooperative, will usher in the transformation of San Jose into an agricultural-technology city benefitting farms, hog raisers, and egg producers alike.

The local government led by its Mayor Valentino Patron thanked Secretary Dar for pouring investments in San Jose to ensure a productive agri sector.
