Launching of BFAR’s “Aqua Negosyo Para sa Pilipino” (Feb 8, 2021)

Fisherfolk, budding fish farmers, and other individuals interested in the fisheries sector will be equipped with the right knowledge and technical skills for viable agri-business ventures through the “Aqua Negosyo Para sa Pilipino” project launched on February 8, 2021.

Present during the launch were Agriculture Secretary William Dar; Undersecretary for Agri-Industrialization and for Fisheries Cheryl Marie Natividad-Caballero; and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Director Eduardo Gongona.

The Aqua Negosyo Para sa Pilipino project is part of BFAR’s transformational contribution to DA’s key initiative seeking to jumpstart agribusiness and entrepreneurial development in the countryside through the establishment of Agro-Industrial Business Corridors.
