Launching of INSPIRE and Bantay ASF sa Barangay (Feb. 11, 2021)

Representatives of local government units, hog industry groups, universities and research institutions, and farmers cooperatives and associations join the Department of Agriculture (DA) during the launch of its two big programs to combat the spread of African Swine Fever (ASF).

With a combined budget of P29.6 billion, the Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (INSPIRE) or hog repopulation and the Bantay ASF sa Barangay (BABay ASF) program kick-off at the Batangas Capitol Grounds on February 11, 2021.
