The Department of Agriculture (DA)-Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) and the DA-Regional Field Office IV-A entered into an agreement for the implementation of BAR-funded projects worth P5.12 million.

Agriculture Secretary William D. Dar, BAR Director Junel Soriano, and Assistant Secretary for Operations and RFO IV Director Arnel De Mesa led the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum on May 25, 2022.

The projects to be implemented are titled, “Strengthening Moringa Industry in Batangas through Sustainable Production, Processing, and Marketing,” and “Evaluation and Promotion of Copra Meal as Supplement to Protein and Energy Source Ingredient for Backyard Swine Diet in CALABARZON Region.” ###
