Agriculture Secretary William Dar visited Tagum City Agri-Aqua Resource Learning Center which features the “Upscaling of Next Generation Rice-Based Integrated Farming Systems Technologies” on September 8, 2020.

The center located at New Balamban serves as a learning site for mature technologies in rice production as well as other agri-fishery enterprises including mushroom production, tilapia culture, Itik Pinas raising, and vegetable production among others.

The local city government of Tagum, joins the campaign of the national government through the Department of Agriculture for a food secure and resilient Philippines.

This event aims to apprise the Bidders on the Standard Bidding Procedures of the Department of Agriculture - Office of the Secretary and the introduction of Green Procurement conditions in the procurement of Lease of Venue, Catering of Food Provision and I.T. Equipment.
