As part of the inauguration of the upgraded Iloilo Fish Port Complex, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr. on Wednesday, turn-over various agricultural equipment provided by the DA-Regional Field Office 6 (DA-RFO 6) for the farmers such as four-wheel tractors, corn mills, corn shellers, hammer mills, rice combine harvesters, village-type rice mills and forage choppers. While the DA-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) distributed motorized fiberglass boats for the livelihoods of fishermen in the region.
Joining the President in the event were Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr., Undersecretary for Fisheries Drusila Esther E. Bayate, DA-RFO 6 Director Dennis Arpia, DA-BFAR 6 Director Remia A. Aparri, DA-PhilMech Director Dr. Dionisio G. Alvindia, Iloilo Provincial Governor Arthur R.
