Turnover of Farm Machineries to Farmers’ Associations in Davao Occidental (Oct. 23, 2021)

Agriculture Secretary William Dar turned over P29 million-worth of farm machineries to farmers’ associations (FA) in Davao Occidental to enable local rice farmers to improve productivity and increase income.

On October 23, the recipients, represented by their association presidents, received certificates of turnover of transplanters, farm tractors, and hauling trucks funded under the regular Rice Banner Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA).

During the ceremony, Sec. Dar also turned over two units of hauling trucks, with total amount of P3.4M under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act or Bayanihan 2.
