Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. and National Food Authority (NFA) Administrator Larry Lacson lead the inspection at the newly rehabilitated NFA warehouse in Roxas, Isabela on Friday (June 20, 2025). Tiu Laurel also met with Isabela farmers to discuss palay procurement and the distribution of trucks for logistics support.

Local farmers and community leaders have welcomed the initiative, particularly amid falling palay prices, which recently dropped to as low as P10.00 per kilo.
