Kapital Access for Young Agripreneurs (KAYA) loan program borrowers can now manage their inventory and directly market their products to consumers while still practicing social distancing through the AgriKonek digital market platform.

“With the launching of this new application, we are hoping to attract more young blood to give the Philippine Agriculture a second look and consider starting a journey of not only becoming agripreneurs, but also partners in national development,” Agriculture Secretary William Dar said during the AgriKonek Launch on February 16, 2021.

He added that the numerous challenges caused by the pandemic prompted the Department of Agriculture (DA) to look for innovative ways to help farmers and agripreneurs sell their products to the market.

The DA Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) partnered with the IOT Technology through a Memorandum of Agreement for the development of AgriKonek, which connects buyers to local farmers near them.

AgriKonek also has a ‘Farmer’s Dashboard’ feature that enables farmers and agripreneurs to manage their production inventory and control their production costs.

For more information on AgriKonek, visit or send a message to the ACPC official Facebook Page.

The KAYA loan program of ACPC offers loans of up to P500,000 payable in five years without interest to finance the capital requirements of borrowers aged 18 to 30 years old for their start-up or existing agribusiness.
