Department of Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol visits Tangub in Ozamis City and distributed a total of 44 million (M) peso worth of farm implements and P100M worth of commitments to the farmers and fisherfolks during his “Tapatan: Gobyerno at Mamamayan” forum on June 9, 2017. During the forum, Piñol announced that Tangub will be included as a pilot area for PLEA loan program which offers P10-50 thousand loan for acquiring farm inputs needed by farmers and fisherfolks with flexible payment schemes.
