Agriculture Secretary Manny F. Piñol visits the four-hectare coconut model farm, which adapts Smart Agriculture Smart Coconut-Based Farming System in Barangay Panikihan, Gumaca, Quezon on May 7, 2019. During the open forum held at the farm, Piñol assured the coco growers that the government is ready to provide assistance to improve their productivity and enhance their livelihood. These include a P50-million (M) credit fund under the Production Loan Easy Access Program, a solar powered irrigation system, and a P3.5M coconut-processing hub.
