Agriculture Secretary William D. Dar over the weekend paid a courtesy call on Senator Cynthia Villar, chairperson of the Senate committee on agriculture and food, to apprise her on the implementation and disbursement of the Rice Competitive Enhancement Fund (RCEF) as provided for under the rice tariffication law or RA 11203. The agri chief has directed the proper and efficient implementation of the RCEF during his first meeting with DA heads, last week, following his assumption of office.
