The Federation of Goat and Sheep Producers Associations in the Philippines (FGASPAPI) submitted to Agriculture Secretary Manny F. Piñol the Roadmap for the Small Ruminant Industry on July 22, 2019 at the DA office in Quezon City. The roadmap aims to turn the Philippine goat and sheep industry into a globally competitive and sustainable sector by 2028. Under this 10-year program, the industry targets to increase the population of goat and sheep by at least 27 percent, as well as  the per capita consumption for chevon and lamb by 1 kilogram and 0.53 kilogram respectively. ### (Photo by Alan Jay Jacalan, DA-AFID)
