“You are doing well and I am happy with your performance,” Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Manny F. Piñol commends the Planters Products, Inc. (PPI) Board of Directors during the Board’s meeting on July 17, 2019 at the DA Central Office in Quezon City. The secretary also urged them to continue their service to the Filipino farmers. PPI is a private agricultural company sequestered by the government a few years back and is now under the administrative control of the DA. It is a company of Filipino farmers engaged in the manufacturing, production, trading, and marketing of agro-chemical products. To date, PPI carries 21 brands of crop protection chemical products and offers various programs for farmers and their families such as the “Fertilizer for the Farm”,“Plant Now, Pay Later”, and scholarship grants. ### (Photo by Ardy Tompong, DA-AFID)
