Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel F. Piñol commits to empower farmers and fisherfolk through the Department’s technology, financing, and market linkage assistance.  During a dialogue with Butil Farmers’ Partylist members held on December 1, 2017 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Piñol stressed that the government has opened various lending programs the farmers can avail. These include Equipment and Machineries Loaning Program (8 years to pay, 0% interest), Seed Loaning Program (6% interest), and Production Loan Easy Access (2 to 10 years to pay, 6% interest per annum).
