Agriculture Secretary Manny F. Piñol welcomes members of the Agricultural Research Institute of Mozambique (IAAM) on February 8, 2019 at the DA Office in Quezon City. During the meeting, Piñol presented the current programs of DA particularly on solar-power irrigation system, hybridization program and rural credit program. Before meeting the secretary, the group visited the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in Los Baños to explore possible partnerships for the implementation of the Agricultural Productivity Program for Southern Africa (APPSA) project and for the Regional Center for Leadership for Rice (RCol) funded by the World Bank. ### (Photo by Alarico Nuestro, DA-AFID)
