Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel F. Piñol introduces Papua New Guinea (PNG) Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Minister Benny Allan the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) Deputy Director General Bruce Tolentino on February 13, 2018, following the plan to establish rice model farm in PNG. In line with this,Piñol asked IRRI to set up a satellite office in PNG and recommended to the PNG government to set-up an office which will serve as the sole administrator for buying rice from local farmers and its price control. ### (Photo by Alarico Nuestro, DA-AFID)
